I am a specialist pharmacist with more than 13 years in pharmacy practice including drug prescribing and dispensing, drug marketing, and TDM practice. I have MSc in pharmaology and Toxicology. My project was about improving antibiotic efficacy against the world most antibiotic resistant bacteria; MRSA and p.aeruginosa. We worked on improving the immune response, as well against those notorious pathogens. My research involved both in vitro model (bacteria) and in vivo (rats)
My PhD have added a new unrivalled experience through working on cell culture using human normal and cancerous cells as well as, on zebrafish. During the PhD we used three different models; cytotoxicity-driven regrowth programming model, re-sensitization of drug resistant cancerous cells, and a successful and robust in vivo tool for xenotransplantation of cancerous cells
My current posdoctoral research is about developing cell culture media to improve cell growth and monoclonal IgG productivity.
