Description
In this paper, a double loop feedforward linearization technique is analyzed and built with a MMIC low noise amplifier “HMC753” as main amplifier and a two-stage class-A power amplifier as error amplifier. The system is operated with 5V DC supply at a center frequency of 5.8GHz and a bandwidth of 500MHz.

Description
In this paper, a single-phase linearly and continuously controlled synchronous reactor is presented. It is a harmonic-free single-phase statcom. The statcom is constructed of a full bridge voltage source inverter shunted by a DC capacitor and absorbs reactive power from the AC supply through a somewhat small series reactor.

In this study, a high linearity class-F RF power amplifier is introduced. It is designed to operate at a frequency of 6 GHz with a bandwidth of 400MHz. The amplifier mixes between the characteristics of conventional switch mode class-F and class B amplifiers.

Description
In this paper, a new continuously and linearly controlled capacitive static VAR compensator is proposed for the automatic power factor correction of inductive single phase loads in 220V 50Hz power system networks. The compensator is constructed of a harmonic-suppressed TCR equipped with a new adaptive current controller.

Description
In this study, the traditional thyristor controlled reactor is conditioned to be an almost harmonic-free inductive static Var compensator. The proposed configuration is constructed of a traditional TCR shunted by a parallel resonance circuit and the parallel combination is connected in series to a series resonance circuit.

In this paper, a bipolar (capacitive and inductive) static VAR compensator is built on the basis of statcom fundamentals. The designed compensator exchanges wide range of pure reactive power with the ac supply without significance of real power contribution.

Description
In this paper, a three-phase four-wire automatic power factor correction system is designed and tested. This system employs three-phase Wye-connected thyristor switched-capacitor banks to generate a controllable static VAR. Each capacitor bank is constructed of five binary weighted thyristor switched-capacitors.

Description
In this paper, an inductive single phase statcom built of a single-phase AC-to- DC converter is presented. The DC voltage of the statcom capacitor can be adjusted such that a constant amplitude inductive current can be drawn from the statcom with short transient time.
