1991 –1999 . Ministry of Education, Babil Directorate of Education/Iraq. A high school teacher of English. - Taught all secondary levels of the New English Course for Iraq:
Intermediate: Three levels.
Preparatory: Three levels.
- Awarded a distinction title of “ Teacher number one” due to excellent teaching of english and achieving high success percentages in the ministerial exams for three years: (97, 98, and 1999).
1999 –2002 . Yarmouk University. Irbid /Jordan. M.A student of English language and linguistics.
2003 – present. Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University of Babylon, Hilla. Iraq. A University Instructor, college of education, department of English.
Some of academic achievements:
- A computer course certificate : No. 180 in 15/9/2004
- A certificate with a very good grade at the end of a one - month university session of methods of teaching in the developing methodologies and university training center at Babylon University (13/8- 13/9/2005).
- I taught the following undergraduate topics:
English grammar, comprehension and composition, methods of writing research, phonetics and phonology, and conversation.
- Supervising fourth-year students’ research graduation papers in the department of English.

- Published papers specialized in English language and linguistics in addition to under publication and in-preparation papers.

- Participation in different symposiums and conferences held at the university of Babylon, and presenting different reports and papers dealing with English language and linguistics.
- Awarded a certificate with a very good grade at the end of one - month university session of methods of teaching in the developing methodologies and university training center at Babylon University (13/8- 13/9/2005).
- A computer course certificate : No. 180 in 15/9/2004
- Participation in different symposiums and discussions held in cooperation with Babil Directorate of Education that deal with teaching English as a foreign language.
- A member of the department examination committee for three years.
- A member of various departmental committees.
- Awarded "International House London Certificate" which is accredited by the British Council due to attending and participating in teacher training methodology seminars at Babylon University on February 17, 2014.
